Managing Director, Community and Government Relations, Kaiser Permanente

Jennifer Scanlon serves on the Oakport Oversight Committee and as a Board Member for SupplyBank.org. She is the Managing Director for Community and Government Relations for Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California Region. Through strategic community involvements and corporate and government relations programs, Jennifer and her team provide the Northern California Region’s physicians and employees with effective opportunities for civic engagement designed to improve the health of the local communities they serve.

Jennifer has led oversight strategies for government relations, volunteer programs, employee giving, sponsorships and events, and a member-focused pediatric literacy program. Prior to her 28 year career with Kaiser Permanente, Jennifer worked as a public affairs consultant, in government relations, and as a staff member in the California State Legislature.  

Jennifer holds BA Degrees in Public Relations and Political Science from California State University, Chico.
